source
What is it?
Open Source is best known in the computing world, where it refers to the free availability of the source code for software. In the days before ubiquitous home computing, hackers and programmers commonly traded code, techniques and ideas, working together to create better and more effective programs. Very few requested any compensation for their efforts, only credit for their work.
For a more comprehensive definition, check out the Wikipedia article on Open Source.
Why music?
I love the feeling or working with other people to build something beautiful. I offer most of my work here to you for free for you to perform, rework, destroy and otherwise do what you wish. I only ask that you remember where you found it, and display my name as original composer/author.
This is only the beginning. I will be posting sheet music, original working files, video projects and more.
